Mental Health Services

Mental wellness is an important part of overall health and wellbeing. TASC is able to offer access to mental health services, through our partner organization Project CHILLD, including:

  • Psychiatric medication management

  • Psychotherapy

 

Project CHILLD offers medication management for clients through the lifespan, prescribed by Danielle Walsh, PMHNP-BC. As a multi-disciplinary practitioner and long-time employee of Project CHILLD, Danielle follows a holistic model to assess her clients' needs and offer therapeutic solutions.

 

Danielle is currently in network with:

 

  • ​Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Carelon

 

She is awaiting credentialing with the following insurance providers:​​​​

 

  • Cigna

  • Mass General Brigham

  • Optum (United Healthcare)

 

She is also servicing out-of-network and private-pay clients. ​

Psychotherapy is a treatment method that uses communication and interaction between a client and a trained professional. The goal of psychotherapy is to identify and address patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are negatively impacting an individual's quality of life.​

 

​Examples of common goals:

 

  • Improve resiliency and distress tolerance

  • Enhance interpersonal communication

  • Reduce emotional reactivity

  • Teach coping skills

  • Increase self-esteem and self-advocacy

  • Build mindfulness and wellbeing
